Skyline quarterback Max Browne was named Gatorade Washington Football Player of the Year this morning.
Browne, a junior, has guided Skyline to a 10-3 mark and a berth in this weekend's Class 4A championship game. Browne has connected on better than 70 percent of his passes and has tossed 43 touchdowns this fall. He joins former Skyline stars Kasen Williams and Jake Heaps (two-time selection) as Gatorade Player of the Year winners.
