RTC: J.J. Watt fueled by a slight?

Reading the coverage of the Houston Texans...

Chris Baldwin of Houston Culture Map, the guy who said the Texans would rue the day they drafted J.J. Watt, writes Watt has had two monster games since being left off Sports Illustrated's mid-season All-Pro team. Watt had two forced fumbles and fumble recoveries against the Arizona Cardinals and two sacks against the Oakland Raiders.

Without Ryan Griffin available, the Texans only used one tight end -- Garrett Graham -- on Sunday against the Raiders. Jake Byrne didn't get an offensive snap. Good news for the Texans, Griffin has been cleared to play, writes Dave Zangaro of CSNHouston.com.

Matt Vensel of the Baltimore Sun offers the Ravens perspective on Ed Reed's comments yesterday. Reed was critical of the Texans' defensive scheme and defensive coordinator. He indicated his comment that the Texans were outplayed and outcoached were what got him shipped out of Houston.
