RTC: Training camp takes a mile-high break

DENVER -- Reading the coverage of the Houston Texans ...

Greetings from Denver, where the Texans will practice against the Broncos starting later today. They'll have three practices together before getting Friday off. Then the teams will play in the third preseason game on Saturday night. They'll be in full pads today and tomorrow.

This trip comes after the team camp on Monday, and with it, and the win over the Atlanta Falcons, comes a new attitude, writes John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Dave Zangaro of CSNHouston.com takes some notes on the Texans' latest depth chart, which has several changes from their last one. The starting linebackers are now listed as Brian Cushing (freshly off the physically unable to perform list) and Mike Mohamed, rather than last week's Justin Tuggle and Jeff Tarpinian. Xavier Su'a-Filo is listed with the starting offensive line, overtaking Alex Kupper.

Paul Gallant of Sports Radio 610 found it difficult to not overreact to the Texans' blowout loss to the Arizona Cardinals in their opening preseason game. Now he asks you to avoid overreaction to their blowout win over the Falcons in preseason Week 2. Those thoughts and then a power ranking of players who did good things this week.

For our last item in this morning's RTC, let's move along to another piece written by someone who calls everyone bro. Here are Parts 1 and 2 on HoustonTexans.com of John Harris breaking down every play in the Texans' win over the Falcons. All of them. That should take care of your day. You'll learn some things.
