Power Ranking: No. 10 Indianapolis Colts

A weekly examination of the Colts' ESPN.com Power Ranking:

Preseason: 10 | Last Week: 11 | ESPN.com Power Ranking since 2002

A 22-point victory over the Houston Texans, who have lost 12 straight games, was good enough to move the Colts up only one spot in this week’s Power Rankings. But they have another opportunity to make a significant jump in the rankings when they travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs on Sunday.

Beating teams with a winning record has been a problem for the Colts. The Denver Broncos are the last team the Colts beat with a winning record. That was Oct. 20 -- or seven games ago for those keeping track. The Colts and Chiefs could meet again in the first weekend of the playoffs at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The Colts are currently the No. 4 seed in the AFC playoffs, while the Chiefs are No. 5.

Here’s how this week’s voting shook out:

  • Ashley Fox: 8

  • Mike Sando: 14

  • Kevin Seifert: 9

  • John Clayton: 10

  • Dan Graziano: 10

  • Jamison Hensley: 9
