RTC: The stats were there but not the impact

Here’s today’s Reading the Coverage:

Conrad Brunner of 1070 The Fan writes that the Colts had good rushing statistics against the Raiders, but the ground game lacked much of an impact on the game.

Indy Star columnist Bob Kravitz has a funny column where he talks to safety LaRon Landry about his physique. Landry lives in the weight room when he's not on the football field. I'm not sure Landry has an ounce of fat on his body. Kravitz asked Landry what it takes to get a body like his.

Mike Chappell, also of the Star, writes that he wants to see more of receiver T.Y. Hilton and less of fullback Stanley Havili. Hilton was on the field for 24 plays against Oakland. Havili was on the field for 26 plays, giving the indication the Colts are seriously thinking more run and fewer passes.
