Defensive snaps: Marks gets a lot

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A look at snaps played by Jacksonville Jaguars defenders in Sunday’s 37-3 loss to Indianapolis, while analyzing what it means:

Analysis: Marks continues to play a high number of snaps. He has been on the field for 90 percent of the Jaguars’ defensive snaps this season, which is a significantly high number for a defensive tackle. You’d like the division between the three who played against the Colts (Marks, Miller and Deaderick) to be more equitable. … Babin committed three penalties in his 43 snaps, two offside and one for roughing the passer. … Blackmon knocked away four passes and notched his first career interception. Despite being someone the team signed on Aug. 26, he has settled in nicely and has played well. Once Dwayne Gratz (high ankle sprain) returns, Blackmon will lose his starting job but he’ll still see some time in the secondary.
