Sixth-round picks Tyrone Holmes, Brandon Allen sign with Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars' two sixth-round picks, defensive end Tyrone Holmes and quarterback Brandon Allen, signed contracts on Thursday, five days after they were drafted.

The contract numbers are pre-determined by a slotting system established in the collective bargaining agreement. According to Spotrac, the contracts break down this way:

Holmes, who was the 181st, overall pick, signed a four-year deal worth $2,487,687 with a signing bonus of $147,687.

Allen, who was taken 201st overall, signed a four-year deal worth $2,464,274 with a signing bonus of $124,274.

Holmes led the Football Championship Subdivision with 18 sacks last season at Montana and was named the FCS Defensive Player of Year. Allen is third in Arkansas history with 7,463 passing yards.
