The three players the Chiefs pulled off waivers this week from Seattle (defensive lineman Jaye Howard, tight end Sean McGrath and cornerback Ron Parker) practiced for the first time with their new team.
Five Chiefs were listed on the injury report as full practice participants: tackle Eric Fisher (shoulder), tight end Travis Kelce (knee), ofensive lineman Donald Stephenson (shoulder), safety Quintin Demps (hamstring) and linebacker James-Michael Johnson (groin).
Saw something today I don’t remember seeing before: Andy Reid spending time (however briefly) watching the defense instead of the offense when they were working on separate fields. Would expect Reid to spend his time with the offense. He’s the play caller. It’s why he hired a veteran, Bob Sutton, as the defensive coordinator and didn’t feel it necessary to hire a veteran as his offensive coordinator.
