Video: T.J. McDonald on avoiding penalties

After last Friday's game against Colorado, USC coach Lane Kiffin implied that Trojans' safety T.J. McDonald played tentative in the second half after returning from his first-half suspension.

McDonald, a junior and potential 2012 NFL drafree, had been suspended the week prior by the Pac-12 conference for his fourth-quarter hit on Stanford's Chris Owusu, which was his fourth personal-foul penalty this season. But he disagreed with his coach this week, saying that he did not feel any different than in previous weeks against Colorado and didn't play any less physically than normal.
