Matt Barkley was impressed with the Trojans' ability to shake off their loss to Stanford with a victory over Cal, saying USC is "in a great spot as a team and we've come a long way, that's for sure."
Tuesday on "The Max and Marcellus Show" on ESPNLA 710, Barkley said he was "really proud of our guys on how we did bounce back against that tough loss to Stanford."
Barkley credited the Trojans' improved consistency with that success.
"It takes us all a couple of weeks to really start feeling it as a team, to get in that rhythm," he said. "I think that's the case with a lot of the teams. Once you find that rhythm towards the middle of season or towards the end of the season, you are firing on all cylinders."
