USC football schedule released

LOS ANGELES – Good news for USC fans wondering how the Trojans will find a way to get past Chip Kelly and the Oregon Ducks. They won’t have to play Oregon during the 2013 regular season.

Same goes for Steve Sarkisian and the Washington Huskies. Not only does USC avoid Oregon and Washington but they get Stanford and UCLA at the Coliseum.

On paper, it looks like a favorable schedule for USC. Then again, most thought USC was in store for a 13-0 season last year before the Trojans finished 7-5.

USC’s 13-game regular season, which features seven home games, begins on Aug. 29 in Hawaii. The Thursday game in Honolulu is one of three weekday games on USC’s schedule, which also features a Thursday home game against Arizona and a dreaded Friday game against Oregon State in Corvallis. USC has not won in Corvallis since 2004

The Trojans' game against Notre Dame will be on Oct. 19 in South Bend and their game against UCLA will be at the Coliseum on Nov. 30. The Pac-12 title game was moved from Friday to Saturday and will now be held on Dec. 7.
