Kendrys Morales news coming

Angels general manager Tony Reagins, Kendrys Morales and team orthopedist Lewis Yocum are going to address the media in the top of the second inning to announce the next move in Morales' rehabilitation from a broken left ankle. We'll have more information shortly afterward.

Morales met with a specialist in Colorado Monday for a second opinion. He broke the ankle last May 29 and had surgery in June. One of the options Morales is considering is another surgical procedure, which could put him out until after the All-Star break.

"It runs the range from some rehab to a procedure. I think there are a lot of different things to consider," manager Mike Scioscia said. "I don't want to speculate on them, because I didn't go to school for 40 years to understand some of this."
