Clippers makes two more cuts

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Clippers waived forward Trent Plaisted and guard Hank Thorns, the team announced Thursday.

In three games played during the preseason, Plaisted averaged 0.7 points and 5.0 minutes while Thorns averaged 1.2 points and 3.4 minutes in five preseason games played.

The Clippers’ roster now stands at 16 players heading into the Clippers' final preseason game against the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night.

If the team plans on keeping 15 players on the roster heading into the regular season, the last logical cut would be forward Marqus Blakely, who has averaged 0.0 points and 7.5 minutes in two preseason games played.
