Second-year guard Eric Bledsoe will make his return to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday in Denver, the team confirmed Saturday.
After a two-game rehabilitation stint in the D-League, Bledsoe fully participated in the Clippers' Saturday practice and flew with the team to Denver for Sunday's game against the Nuggets.
He sat out the first month of the season after suffering a torn meniscus in his right knee working out on his own during the offseason. He underwent surgery to repair it on Oct. 7 and targeted late-January as a potential return date.
In games on Thursday and Friday for the Bakersfield Jam, the Clippers' D-League affiliate, Bledsoe averaged 12.5 points and 8.5 assists in just 21 minutes. Last season, as a rookie, he played 81 games and averaged 6.7 points and 3.6 assists.
He will compete for minutes off the bench in the Clippers' backcourt with Mo Williams and Randy Foye.
