LA North: Highland reportedly lands a couple basketball transfers

Let’s see if we can follow the bouncing basketball players.

Devin Burleson and Namon Wright are at their fourth school after transferring from Los Angeles Price to Sierra Canyon to Pacific Hills to Highland in Palmdale, according to a report on the LA Times Varsity Insider website.

Highland coach Jeff Smith told the LA Times that Wright has enrolled at Highland, but he has not heard if Burleson has enrolled at the school yet.

On another transfer note, Woodland Hills Taft looks like they might land another top basketball player. Anthony January, who played a few games at Compton last season, is reportedly headed to Taft, according to the LA Times.

Shaqquan Aaron, who transferred to Taft from Santa Ana Mater Dei, and Alesandro Alberto, a transfer from Florida, are already on the team.
