LA North: Alemany comes out hot, but Crespi rallies for halftime lead

SANTA ANA -- It looked early on as if Mission Hills Alemany was going to shock the Southern Section Division 4A. The fourth-place team from the Mission League, which has lost twice this season to Encino Crespi, scored the final 15 points of the first quarter and opened a 19-6 lead.

But the Warriors went cold in the second quarter, and Blake Stanton's three-point buzzer-beater from the top of the key gave Crespi a 27-25 lead going into the third quarter. Stanton has 14 points.
