Madden sat out of the Diablos' 37-7 victory over Long Beach Poly with a fractured foot, suffered in Mission's victory over Corona last week. He said after the game he couldn't ever recall missing a game.
Committed to USC, Madden is a high-profile linebacker for the high-profile Diablos, who are ranked No. 3 in the ESPNLA.com Top 25. At 6-foot and 213 pounds, he's also played some wildcat quarterback this season for Mission.
