Rickey Minyard, Thousand Oaks, Sr.

He scored three touchdowns in his team's 28-21, come-from-behind win over Quartz Hill in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Northern Division playoffs. His first touchdown came on a 46-yard run in the second quarter to give his team a 14-7 lead. Quartz Hill went up 21-14 in the third quarter. Minyard tied the game with a 2-yard touchdown plunge. He gave his team the lead with a 32-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Avondre Bollar.

Hanna Levanen, Granada Hills, Sr.

She had a team-high 23 kills and 18 digs in her team's five-game win in the championship match of the CIF City Section Division I playoffs against Carson. Granada Hills won the first two games of the match, but Carson won the next two, forcing a fifth and deciding game. Granada Hills won the fifth game, 15-12, and advanced to the CIF Division I state tournament. Granada Hills is the fifth seed in the Southern California bracket and faces Redondo Union in the first round.
