Granada Hills wins City volleyball title

Behind 11 kills and 15 digs from Sam Cramer, the Granada Hills girls volleyball team won the CIF City Section Division I championship for the third year in a row.

Granada Hills beat El Camino Real in four games in the championship match at the Roybal Learning Center. Emma Levanen had 30 assists for Granada Hills. Teammate Julia Erickson had 17 digs.

Laurel Weaver had a match-high 19 kills for El Camino Real.

The Palisades girls volleyball team won the Division II championship, downing Woodland Hills Taft in three games.

Palisades won the City Section Division I girls volleyball championships in 2007 and 2008. Molly Kornfeind had 12 kills to lead Palisades.
