CLUB FRIENDLY

Barcelona (Spain) vs. Manchester United (England)

ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes, 4 p.m.

The highlight of the World Football Challenge -- of all the summer friendlies on U.S. soil -- is a rematch of May's UEFA Champions League final. Can Barca approach the majesty of its performance at Wembley? Or will Man U claim another victim on its U.S. tour.

SUNDAY, JULY 31

  • TELEVISION

CLUB FRIENDLY

New York Red Bulls at Arsenal (England)

Fox Soccer Channel, 8 a.m.

The Red Bulls might be Major League Soccer's most talented team, but they're struggling mightily. Probably not the best time to cross the Atlantic for two friendlies in two days, but the opportunity to play in the Gunners' preseason event was too good to turn down. Replays: Fox Soccer Plus, 10:30 a.m.; Fox Deportes, 2 p.m.; FSC, 8 p.m.

MEXICAN PRIMERA DIVISION

Pumas UNAM at Morelia

Fox Deportes and Azteca America (KAZA/Channel 54), 10 a.m.

Here's the rematch of the Clausura final last May, which Pumas won impressively. It'll be tougher for the Mexico City club this time around: The Monarcas are difficult to beat at home, and Pumas jettisoned most of its talent after winning the trophy.

America at Toluca, Telemundo (KVEA/Channel 52), 10 a.m.

Jagures de Chiapas at Guadalajara, Telemundo (KVEA/Channel 52), 3 p.m.

Brazilian Brasileirão Petrobras

Corinthians at Avai, GolTV, noon

MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER

Chivas USA at FC Dallas

Galavision, 4 p.m.

Alejandro Moreno returns to the Goats, providing strength up front, but they've done well while he was off at Copa America, with Justin Braun's second hat trick of the season and Nick LaBrocca's excellence in front of goal.

Women's Professional Soccer

Atlanta Beat at Philadelphia Independence, Fox Soccer Channel, 3 p.m. and midnight

  • ON LOCAL FIELDS

USL PRO
