They're off to a 7-0-0 start, with Gabriella Valles and Lauren Skachenko combining for 13 goals. Former UC Irvine/Cal State Dominguez Hills coach Marine Cano needs tome to build Soka, an affiliate of a Japanese university, into an NAIA power.

The most important game on L.A.'s schedule this season, at least until Major League Soccer's playoffs begin, is this one, a must-win encounter critical to the Galaxy's chances of making it to next year's knockout stage. No David Beckham (suspended) -- and, hopefully, no robbery by the officials this time.
