Lake Forest's Amy Rodriguez is one of 14 reserves selected Monday for Women's Professional Soccer's All-Star Game.
Rodriguez, an All-American forward at Santa Margarita Catholic High School and USC, has scored two goals this season for the expansion Philadelphia Independence.
Chino Hills' Karen Bardsley, a goalkeeper for New Jersey-based Sky Blue FC, and Redondo Beach's Shannon Boxx, a midfielder for Bay Area-based FC Gold Pride were voted in as starters last week. Former UCLA star Lauren Cheney, Hermosa Beach resident Abby Wambach and three players who were with the defunct L.A. Sol last year -- Marta, Aya Miyama and Allison Falk -- also are set to start the June 30 match in Kennesaw, Ga.
WPS commissioner Tonya Antonucci and All-Star Game coaches Albertin Montoya (FC Gold Pride) and Paul Riley (Philadelphia) selected these reserves:

Defenders: Kate Markgraf (Chicago), Christie Rampone (Sky Blue FC), Becky Sauerbrunn (Washington), Alex Scott (Boston).
Midfielders: Karen Carney (Chicago), Laura Kalmari (Sky Blue FC), Angie Kerr (Atlanta), Caroline Seger (Philadelphia).
