Morelia advances to next year's quarterfinals with a victory, and it can get through with a tie if L.A. fails to win Thursday in Honduras or with a loss if Motagua beats the Galaxy.

CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Toronto FC at FC Dallas

Fox Soccer Channel 5 p.m.

The MLS rivals face off in a Group C finale with a quarterfinal berth on the line. The winner advances, and Dallas gets through with a draw unless Panama's Tauro upsets Mexican champ Pumas UNAM on Wednesday.

The Goats have been very good about getting the best talent in their academy playing time with the pros in the Reserve League. They've got two games left, and this one is tentatively slated for Chivas' training field southwest of the main stadium, but it could end up in the Track and Field Stadium.

The third-ranked Cougars are reeling after Saturday's loss at Biola, their second in five Golden State Athletic Conference outings. Vanguard also has two conference losses. Both have NAIA aspirations.
