Major League Soccer's players union released its list of salaries Monday. Here are the figures for the Galaxy and Chivas USA. The first number is the base salary, the second is guaranteed compensation.

Notes: Beckham is the highest-paid player in MLS and Donovan is No. 2. Also paid $1 million or more per year: New York forward Juan Pablo Angel ($1.62 million / $1.918 million), Toronto FC midfielder Julian de Guzman ($1,670,796 / $1,717,546) and Seattle midfielder Freddie Ljungberg ($1.3 million / $1.314 million). … Sesay, who isn't on the Galaxy roster but appears to be receiving compensation from his Generation adidas contract, is the most overpaid player in MLS. The 19-year-old forward played all of six minutes over three league games in 2007 and 2008 and was not on the field last year. … Among the league's most underpaid players: DeLaGarza and Stephens. DeLaGarza is a second-year player, and Stephens is a rookie.

Notes: Kljestan is no longer with Chivas; he was transferred to Belgian champion RSC Anderlecht last week. … Umana and Romero are among the league's most overpaid players, and Bornstein and Padilla are bargains. … With Kljestan's departure, Chivas is the only team with no players making at least $200,000. Five teams have no players making at least $300,000: Chivas, D.C. United, Kansas City, Philadelphia and Real Salt Lake.
