Fox Soccer Plus, 11:30 a.m.

Bayern has mowed through the Group A competition to clinch its knockout-stage berth after just five games, but Man City -- England's richest and now, it appears, best side -- needs a victory win (and for Napoli not to win at Villarreal) to avoid dropping into the second-tier Europa League. La Piedad rode a pair of former Chivas USA forwards -- Roberto Nurse and Jesus Padilla, combining for 17 goals -- to the top spot in Mexico's No. 2 league and into the Apertura final against second-place Correcaminos. The winner of the two-game series, at the least, advances to a playoff in May for a Primera Division berth next season.

Hernan Barcos scored all three semifinal goals for 12th-seeded Liga in their upset of top-seeded Argentines Velez Sarsfield in South America's No. 2 competition. They're home for the first leg of the final, against a U de Chile side that's 8-0-2 in the competition.

Envigado at Millonarios, GolTV, 2:30 p.m.

MEXICAN PRIMERA DIVISION

UANL Tigres at Santos Laguna

Univision (KMEX/Channel 34), 6:30 p.m.

Monterrey's other club -- Tigres -- pulled out a tough stretch in late August, and it's been lights out since, with five straight shutouts. Too bad local hero Jonathan Bornstein can't make it onto the field. Santos has relied heavily on Oribe Peralta, who has a 16 goals this campaign, a dozen of them in league play.
