SPANISH LA LIGA

Athletic Bilbao at Deportivo La Coruña

ESPN Deportes, 10:55 a.m.

The Basques are atop a three-team race for fifth and sixth places (and the Europa League slots that go with them). Deportivo is at the bottom of a 10-team fight to avoid the final relegation berth, trailing Real Zaragoza on the smallest goal difference.

Atletico Madrid at Racing Santander, GolTV, 2 p.m.

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE

Tottenham at Manchester City

Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Deportes, 11:30 a.m.

This is a marquee clash that isn't as vital as what's ahead: Tottenham-Liverpool likely decides a Europa League clash, and Man City has the F.A. Cup final against Stoke City on Saturday. Replays: Fox Deportes, 7 p.m.; FSC, 5 p.m.

ITALIAN COPPA ITALIA

AC Milan at Palermo

GolTV, 11:45 a.m.

The Sicilians pulled out a 2-2 draw in the semifinal first leg, at the San Siro, and will reach the May 29 final with a low-scoring draw or better. Milan clinched the Scudetto on Saturday and is looking for a “double.” Replay: midnight.

ITALIAN COPPA ITALIA

AS Roma at Inter Milan

GolTV, 1 p.m.

Valencia at Espanyol, ESPN Deportes, 11:55 a.m.

  • ON LOCAL FIELDS

MEXICAN LIGA DE ASCENSO

Irapuato at Club Tijuana

Estadio Caliente (Tijuana), 1 p.m.

Midweek road trip? That's what sick days are for. Park at the border, take a cab to the stadium and see the Xolos take on Cuauhtemoc Blanco and Co. in the first leg of the second-tier league's Clausura final. If Tijuana wins this two-game set, it's in the Primera Division -- against the likes of Chivas, America, Cruz Azul and Monterrey -- come summer.

  • NOTE

MEXICAN PRIMERA DIVISION

Semifinals have been moved to Thursday and Sunday.
