We're just about set to go here at the Coliseum for USC-Cal.
Here are a couple of last-minute things worthy of an update before the Bears attempt to beat the Trojans at the Coliseum for the first time since 2000:
Out for today's game are running back Dillon Baxter (toes), linebacker Malcolm Smith (knee) and defensive end Wes Horton (back). All three players were unable to take part in practice this week, although coach Lane Kiffin refused to rule any of them out of today's game. This will be Horton's third consecutive missed game.
Tight end Jordan Cameron is dressed and appears to ready to go. He didn't participate in practice this week after suffering a bone bruise in his knee in the first half of the Stanford game. He'll back up starter Rhett Ellison.
Redshirt junior Chris Galippo will start in place of Smith at weakside linebacker, his first start since the 2009 Emerald Bowl and his first career college start at a position other than middle linebacker.
Be sure to follow Trojans Live! as Beto Duran, Arash Markazi, Mark Saxon and I keep you updated throughout the game.
