USC in the NCAA tournament

Kevin O'Neilland the USC Trojans are going to the Big Dance, but they will have to play a first-round game as part of the new "First Four."

USC (19-14) will play Virginia Commonwealth (23-11) on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Dayton, Ohio, for the No. 11 seeding in the Southwest region of the NCAA Tournament.

If the Trojans win that game, they will play No. 6 Georgetown on Friday in Chicago. They would then face the winner of a Purdue-St. Peter's game Sunday if they beat the Hoyas.
