Woods named to Biletnikoff Award watch list

USC receiver Robert Woods was named to the 75-player Fred Biletnikoff Award watch list Thursday.

Woods, a sophomore, led the Trojans in receiving in 2010 with 65 catches for 792 yards and six touchdowns. He also found success as a kick returner and practiced some as a defensive back.

The Biletnikoff goes to the nation's top receiver. Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon won it as a sophomore in 2010.

There are five Pac-12 players on the list: Woods, Utah's Devonte Christopher, Arizona's Juron Criner, Cal's Marvin Jones and Washington State's Marquess Wilson.

Earlier this week, Woods was named to the watch list for the Maxwell Award, which goes to the country's top offensive player. Quarterback Matt Barkley was also on that list.
