USC has finalized its schedule for its Aug. 12 trip to Brazil, and it looks a lot different than was originally planned. The Trojans had to switch things up to accommodate the teams' timetables at home, so they're not playing any of the teams they had on the schedule at first.
Instead, they'll lead things off a week from Sunday, Aug. 14, against a second-division team in Sao Paulo and follow it up with two more games (one of which is being called a scrimmage) in Sao Paolo against first-division teams.
Then they'll take a day for sightseeing and to travel to Rio de Janeiro and play two more games against top squads there, finishing the trip with two sightseeing days before returning to the states Aug. 21.
The Trojans have four practices left in Los Angeles before they depart for Brazil on Friday, and they're also allowed by NCAA rules to practice twice in between games.
Here's the full schedule of games, as provided by USC's basketball staff. Times are local to Brazil:
Aug. 14 – Game vs. Pindamonhangaba, 7 p.m.
Aug. 15 – Scrimmage vs. Sao Jose dos Campos Club Team, 5 p.m.
Aug. 16 – Game vs. Mogi das Cruzes, 8 p.m.
