Gordon to use IU's last schollie?

We wrote earlier this week that Evan Gordon was transferring from Arizona State, and that Indiana appeared to be a frontrunner for the guard. The move makes total sense from 30,000 feet: IU has one remaining scholarship for the 2013-14 season, so Gordon would seamlessly fit into Tom Crean's roster. Gordon would be able to play immediately, and would bring an offensive spark to a Hoosiers' backcourt that is lacking significant depth. Gordon spoke with Jeremy Price of The Hoosier Scoop and revealed not only is he going to meet with Crean and IU assistant Tim Buckley, he also plans to visit Butler and has been in contact with the Purdue coaching staff.
