Why Cliff Alexander is No. 2 for 2014

UPDATE: Cliff Alexander's rise up the ESPN 100 rankings last week was a significant one. Not only did it jump the already highly-regarded big man from No. 8 all the way to No. 2, it dropped Tyus Jones down to No. 3 in the process. That had Jones supporters taking notice because it's not as if the gifted point guard's play has dropped off at all. More than anything, this was an indicator of just how special Alexander can be -- not a knock on anyone else. Our own Paul Biancardi explains below.
