Examining the Miami Dolphins' roster:
It's still questionable if Miami keeps three quarterbacks. But this is something coach Joe Philbin has done the previous two years.
RUNNING BACKS (3)
Moreno and Williams are making a strong push this past week. Daniel Thomas looks to be on the outside looking in.
This remains one of the deepest areas of the team.
TIGHT ENDS (3)
OFFENSIVE LINEMEN (10)
Pouncey's rehab is going well. So well that I'm now including him on the 53-man roster and off the PUP list, which would require him to miss the first six games.
DEFENSIVE LINE (9)
Strong group with a variety of youth and experience.
Miami's linebackers still have a lot to prove. Rookie backups Tripp and McCain could be nice sleepers this year.
This is a solid foursome, but staying healthy is key.
Someone in this group may have to go once starter Reshad Jones returns from his four-game suspension.
An injury to free-agent pickup John Potter means Sturgis must get back sooner rather than later.
