The Miami Dolphins, on paper, have their most talented collection of players since head coach Joe Philbin took over four seasons ago. This means Miami's front office and coaching staff will have plenty of tough decisions to make this summer.
This week I will take a look at some of the interesting players on the roster bubble. Next is a second-year player who is coming off injury his rookie year.
Bubble player: Damien Williams
Position: Running back
Experience: Two seasons
Analysis: Williams was another quality, undrafted find last year by Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey. He made the roster out of training camp and finished with 122 rushing yards on 36 carries. Williams also returned five kickoffs for 102 yards. But the Dolphins improved their running back depth this offseason with the addition of fifth-round pick Jay Ajayi, who is expected to make the 53-man roster. With starter Lamar Miller also locked in, that leaves just one spot left at running back. Williams and LaMichael James could be fighting for one roster spot. That's going to be a tight race that could come down to preseason games.
Chances of making 53-man roster: 50 percent
