Locker Room Buzz: Miami Dolphins

MIAMI -- Observed in the locker room after the Miami Dolphins' 26-23 loss to the Baltimore Ravens:

Quiet please: It was a quiet locker room after the tough loss for Miami. Interestingly, owner Stephen Ross remained in the locker room and waited for Dolphins coach Joe Philbin to finish his news conference. Afterward, Philbin had a meeting with Ross and a few others in the middle of the locker room to discuss several things, presumably about the game.

Further evaluation: Miami starting cornerback Nolan Carroll went to the X-ray room following the postgame meeting in the locker room. Carroll injured his shoulder in the second half and didn’t return to the game.

Unhappy camper: Dolphins left tackle Jonathan Martin was not happy about his performance. Dolphins offensive line coach Jim Turner went over to Martin in the locker room and asked if he was ok. Martin said that he was but was clearly disappointed. The Dolphins allowed six sacks and Martin was beat by Ravens defensive end Terrell Suggs for a big sack.
