Vikings release first depth chart

MANKATO, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings released their first unofficial depth chart of training camp, and as they head into their first preseason game on Friday night against the Oakland Raiders, Matt Cassel is still their No. 1 quarterback.

The veteran is listed ahead of rookie Teddy Bridgewater, who is the Vikings' No. 2 quarterback, and third-stringer Christian Ponder, in a depth chart that stayed consistent with how the Vikings have been conducting their training camp practices. There were no major surprises on either side of the ball, with Anthony Barr being listed as the top strongside linebacker after getting more work with the first team all week.

Captain Munnerlyn is listed as the Vikings' top left cornerback, ahead of Josh Robinson, and Robert Blanton -- who is currently out with a strained hamstring -- is listed as the top safety opposite Harrison Smith.
