After serving a nine-month suspension for testing positive for painkillers -- pills that should come in a Pez dispenser for MMA practitioners -- judo artist Karo Parisyan will make his return to the UFC on Nov. 21 against ground expert Dustin Hazelett, according to MMAWeekly.
A lack of finishing ability often is a source of derision among fans, but Parisyan is probably the most exciting decision fighter in the sport. In 12 UFC bouts since his debut with the promotion in 2004, nine have gone the distance. You'd be hard-pressed to find a stinker among them. And against a fighter as dangerous as Hazelett is on the ground, it wouldn't be foolish for either man to start spending his Fight of the Night bonus right now.
