Igor Kokoskov was announced as the newest addition to Quin Snyder's staff on Wednesday. This will mark Kokoskov's fifteenth season as an assistant coach, including the 2004 season in which he won a championship with the Detroit Pistons. Kokoskov was most recently an assistant for the Orlando Magic in 2014-15.
In addition to his service as an NBA assistant, Kokoskov also has experience coaching overseas. He helped coach the 2004 Serbian National Team at the Athens Olympic Games and was the head coach of the Georgia National Team from 2008-2014, twice qualifying for the European Championships.
This will be Kokoskov's second stint as an assistant for Quin Snyder, his first coming back in 1999-00 at the University of Missouri.
