Milwaukee Bucks backup center Greg Monroe has missed the last four games due to his strained left calf, and he doesn't know when he might be cleared to rejoin the active roster.
"We haven't really discussed it," Monroe told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "It's just more about getting healthy. ... Right now it's no set game, it's just about making sure the calf feels right, it feels strong and I'm just ready to play a game."
Monroe has been in the trade rumor mill for over a year and could still be on the block. But this season, nothing has been mentioned regarding the Bucks' desire to move him off the roster.
Due to the calf issue, Monroe struggled early this season, averaging 6.8 points and 5.0 rebounds through five appearances.
"It was a little nagging injury basically the whole season," Monroe said. "Just tried to push through. I was able to play, though I wasn't at 100 percent."
Until Monroe returns, the majority of the minutes at center will go to John Henson and Thon Maker.
