If you have the attention of the college football world for the better part of seven hours -- as will be the case for Louisville on Saturday when the Cardinals host College GameDay (9 a.m. ET, ESPN) before hosting No. 2 Florida State (noon ET, ABC) -- you better look your best.
Louisville will show off chrome red helmets (that include a tribute to Derby City native Muhammad Ali) along with a red jersey and white pants.
No need to check your programming guide when you see LSU in gold jerseys against Mississippi State (7 p.m. ET, ESPN2). The Tigers are known for ditching convention and wearing white at home, but when they've deviated, it has usually been with purple threads. These "Gridiron Gold" uniforms are a nod to the Y.A. Tittle teams of the 1940s. More details here.
We saw a slew of patriotic uniforms last week, but Arizona will wear a very detailed outfit on Saturday against Hawaii that honors the U.S.S. Arizona as the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor approaches. More details here.
Missouri will stripe the stadium when it hosts Georgia (7:30 p.m. ET, SECN) for its annual "Tiger Stripe" game, and the team is following suit.
Nothing new here from Colorado when it travels to Michigan, but the Buffs might be superstitious as they're wearing the same combination that helped them beat the Wolverines on a Hail Mary in 1994.
Perhaps Tulane (hosting Navy) and North Carolina (hosting James Madison) were inspired by the NFL's Color Rush reveal as they're both going with monochromatic looks.
