Who's going to win? Week 7 Pac-10 picks

We head into the meat of the Pac-10 schedule. I was 6-0 last week, 32-8 for the year. Thus far, I'm having a better year than the conference.

USC 35, Arizona State 10: Hard to imagine Arizona State has a chance without quarterback Rudy Carpenter. In fact, it's hard to imagine the Sun Devils having much of a shot with Carpenter on one leg, though that's a far better prospect. The Trojans will roll with or without Mark Sanchez.

Oregon 30, UCLA 17: We put the Ducks on upset alert this week. Here's a guess they listened. In the end, Oregon's offense and defense will find the going a lot easier at home against the Bruins than at USC.

Arizona 33, Stanford 21: The winner of this matchup gets a huge lift for bowl hopes and moves up in the Pac-10 pecking order. Wildcats quarterback Willie Tuitama should have his way with the struggling Cardinal secondary.

Oregon State 41, Washington State 13: The outmanned Cougars keep fighting, but the Beavers seem to be coming together on both sides of the ball and should be eager to take out their frustrations in front of the home fans after the fourth-quarter face plant at Utah.
