Boise State takes the lead

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- For the second consecutive Fiesta Bowl, Boise State uses a trick play to gain an advantage.

Punter Kyle Brotzman threw a 21-yard pass to Kyle Efaw off a fake punt play to keep a drive alive and ultimately lead to the go-ahead score. Prior to that play, Boise State had been able to do little on offense. Once the trick play was completed, TCU’s defense was back on its heels and Boise State took advantage.

With the way TCU’s offense and Boise State’s defense have been playing, it’s going to be tough tie this up.
