Missouri makes it look easy on first drive

Missouri doesn't seem to be having too much trouble early on against rival Kansas, which led 14-10 after the first quarter last week against Oklahoma State.

The Tigers won the opening toss and marched 69 yards in 10 plays to open the scoring with an early touchdown for a 7-0 lead.

Quarterback Blaine Gabbert completed 3-of-5 passes for 33 yards and broke an 18-yard run. Missouri converted a pair of short third downs and finished the drive with a three-yard run (from under center!) with running back De'Vion Moore.

In games like this, the rivalry factor often serves as an equalizer. It's early, and that might come into play later today, but it didn't look like it on the Tigers' first series.
