AutoZone Liberty Bowl set for Dec. 31

The AutoZone Liberty Bowl is set for an afternoon kickoff on Dec. 31 and will be televised on ESPN.

This will be the fourth time since 2005 the AutoZone Liberty Bowl has been played on a Saturday. In the three previous Saturday games since 2005, the AutoZone Liberty Bowl has attracted an average attendance of more than 60,000. In 2007, a record crowd of 63,816 watched Mississippi State beat UCF.

Last year, UCF defeated Georgia 10-6 in the game, playing in Memphis.
