Blue Ribbon's season previews have been featured on ESPN.com the past several days, and Notre Dame got the Blue Ribbon treatment on Wednesday. Here's the link.
Nothing earth-shattering here for Irish fans who have paid attention to team developments all offseason, and I won't steal the thunder of the article too much.
But Blue Ribbon is pretty bullish on Notre Dame for 2011. In the analysis section, the three main questions presented for this season are quarterback, help for Michael Floyd (assuming he returns) and running back depth.
"If all three of those questions are answered in the affirmative, the Irish have a shot at a BCS bowl game, because the defense shouldn't have any trouble shutting down opponents' offenses. Look for that to be the case and the Irish to compete for a BCS bowl."
