Northwestern struggling against EMU

Northwestern wasn't supposed to be tested until Week 3, but the Wildcats find themselves in some trouble against Eastern Michigan, a team that lost by 13 points to Army at home last week.

A lackluster effort from the defense and more abysmal special teams play has hurt Northwestern, which jumped ahead to a 21-0 lead in the game. Some questionable offensive playcalling has also slowed down the Wildcats offense, and Eastern Michigan quarterback Andy Schmitt is picking apart the secondary.

Not a good start for the Big Ten today.
