Hankins, Lewan move up on Big Board

The Big Ten's top two NFL draft prospects will share the field Nov. 24 at Ohio Stadium. And if Ohio State DT Johnathan Hankins and Michigan LT Taylor Lewan decide to forgo their senior seasons, it'll be their final meeting at the college level.

Colleague Mel Kiper Jr. has issued his latest Big BoardInsider for the 2013 NFL draft, and both Hankins and Lewan have moved up. Hankins moves up three spots to No. 8 following his strong performance in the win against Penn State (5 tackles), while Lewan moves up two spots to No. 13.

Kiper writes that Lewan has shown growth in recent weeks after a shaky start to the season, while Hankins is a space eater who can play in the 4-3 or as a nose tackle in the 3-4.

No other Big Ten players appear on the latest Big Board.

Colleague Todd McShay has Hankins at No. 10 on his top 32Insider, moving up one spot. Purdue DT Kawann Short comes in at No. 24, moving up two spots, while Lewan sneaks in at No. 31.
