ORLANDO, Fla. -- Virginia Tech quarterback Logan Thomas reiterated after the Russell Athletic Bowl on Friday night that he has a decision to make about his future.
"I can't tell you now," Thomas said when asked whether he would return to Virginia Tech for his senior season. "I have a big decision in front of me either way it goes."
Thomas had his share of struggles this season, and did nothing to really make himself stand out in a 13-10 overtime win over Rutgers, finishing 15-of-39 for 193 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. He finished the season with 18 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. But NFL draft analysts have raved about his arm strength and his pro potential.
He will wait until he gets an answer from the NFL draft advisory board before making a decision.
"The important thing is to get accurate information, responsible information, and then he'll make a good decision," coach Frank Beamer said. "He's a smart guy, and he will make a good decision, and that's the way it needs to be."
