Florida State running back James Wilder Jr. has been arrested for the third time in less than a year, according to the Associated Press.
According to the AP, coach Jimbo Fisher is aware of Wilder's arrest, but there has been no official statement from Florida State or word on how this might affect Wilder's status with the team heading into spring practices, which begin in March. Wilder Jr. finished third on the team in rushing with 635 yards this past season and he had 11 rushing touchdowns. He also scored on two receiving touchdowns this season.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Wilder Jr. had vowed to be more careful and avoid a similar situation again.
