The Poinsettia Bowl has extended its agreement with the Mountain West Conference for the next four-year bowl term, 2010-2013. San Diego will receive the second pick among conference bowl eligible teams while the Las Vegas Bowl will continue to receive the first.

The Poinsettia Bowl also announced Monday that the WAC will receive a guaranteed spot in the 2011 and 2012 games and will be a backup in 2010 and 2013 should Navy and Army not be bowl eligible in those respective years.

Both Navy and Army already have agreed to play in the bowl during the 2010 and 2013 season respectively.

The WAC also has the backup spot for the Poinsettia Bowl this season should a Pac-10 team not be eligible.
